Arriving for Classes

  • Arrive 5-10 minutes early to check-in with your teacher in the front area and settle in for your practice. When class begins our front doors lock and late arrivals will not be permitted to enter class. Please see more on our “Late Arrival Policy” below.

  • Store all personal items. Leave all handbags, yoga or gym bags, coats, scarves, and all other personal items either on the coat rack in the front area or use the hooks in the near the rest room in the back.

  • Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. For adults, we recommend yoga leggings or loose sport pants, longline sports bra with full coverage, lined cami tops, or T-shirts without offensive graphics. For children, we recommend flexible clothing that they can move in. We don't recommend denim of any kind.

  • Hygiene. Be sure to arrive for class with proper hygiene practices. Arrive fully clean with sanitized body, hands, and feet as well as fresh clean clothes. We suggest using non-scented perspirant spray and avoiding strong perfumes and other scented products.

  • Remove shoes as soon as you enter, before entering the studio. No shoes are permitted in the studio or anywhere beyond the front area. Please consider practicing barefoot or with pilates socks if you prefer. If you have a medical condition or personal preference to wear socks, of course we will allow this.

  • Restrooms are available and can be used as changing space. Our restroom has plenty of room for you to change both before and after class.

  • We encourage students to bring water. We have a fresh water dispenser for refills.

  • New students must sign our waiver prior to their first class. This can be done on Walla when you sign-up for class and create your account. If your waiver is not signed, our team will stop you at the front desk before class begins. You can view our current Waiver Agreement for complete terms.

Cellphones + Personal Belongings

  • Please leave all personal belongings (including your cellphone) in the basket on the shelves in the front area. Our doors are locked during class times whenever a team member is not present at the front area. You agree that we are not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal property you bring or leave with Llamaste Yoga.

  • To maintain a peaceful and distraction-free environment, we ask that all phones be turned off. Enjoy your time on the mat, unplugged!

    • If you are on-call or a caretaker and must keep your phone with you, we understand—just please silence it and step out of the studio if you need to use it.

    • Photos and videos are welcome before or after class, but no active phone use during class.

  • Please silence all devices when you arrive. Phone ringing in the lobby can also be distracting for students enjoying classes or services.

Studio Space + Props Policies

  • Our in-studio space is limited to 8 students per class to allow comfortable space between students.

  • Mat locations are first come, first serve. If you have a preferred spot, we recommend arriving early.

  • We recommend that you leave your mat slightly more forward or back from the student directly next to you. When positioned at the top of your mat, this will allow your neighbors space to open their arms wide.

  • Bring your own mat or rent one of our specialized Llamaste brand mats. Mat rentals are always free for anyone who signs up through Llamaste and $2 for anyone using a third party app, for example, ClassPass or WellHub

  • All other props are provided.

  • Please wipe and return all props neatly to their storage area after class and leave your yoga home tidy for the next class. Our homemade all natural mat spray and paper towels are located by the back wall of our studio

No-Show + Cancellation Policies (Updated May 12, 2026)

To maintain fairness and help more students access classes, Llamaste Yoga enforces the following cancellation and attendance policies:

Classes

If you can no longer make a class, please cancel your reservation at least 6 hours before the class begins to allow another student to attend. To cancel, please login to your Wellnessliving account and cancel your reservation. If you need assistance, please email info@llamaste.com or text 929-266-6737 with at least 12 hours notice.

Any notice less 6 hours will be considered a “late cancellation.” A student who does not show up for class will be considered a “no show.”

Late Cancel” and “No Show” fees will be applied as follows:

  • Drop-ins and class pack classes will not be refunded/credited in the event of a late cancellation.

  • Members will be charged a $10 late cancellation fee or a $20 no-show fee.

We encourage students to cancel their reservation as early as possible, even if it's within the 6-hour window. Timely cancellations, even if late, allow us to offer the spot to another student and will help you avoid the higher no-show fee.

We will always be flexible in the event of emergencies and illnesses. Please reach out to us directly if you need consideration due to special circumstances. Please make every effort to let us know BEFORE class begins so your spot can become available for another student.

Workshops + Special Events

You must cancel 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop or special event to receive a refund. Refunds will be credited to your account to use for a future service. To cancel, please login to your Wellnessliving account and cancel your reservation or you can email info@llamaste.com or text 929-266-6737 with at least 24 hours notice.

Private Lessons, Private Classes + Appointments

You must cancel or reschedule all private lessons, classes or appointments with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations less than 24 hours will not be refunded. To cancel, please email info@llamaste.com or text 929-266-6737

Waitlist Policy

Our classes are often full and we encourage students to add themselves to the waitlist as there is a high likelihood that they will still make it into class due to cancellations. When you sign-up for class, please pay close attention to if you are adding yourself to the waitlist. The button next to the class will say “Waitlist” rather than “Sign-up”

We strongly encourage students to add themselves to the waitlist—there are always cancellations before class begins, and you will likely get in! However, if you’re on the waitlist, that means you are committed to attending if a spot opens. If you do get into class, you will be subject to the late cancel and no-show policy.

If you no longer plan to come to class or wouldn't be able to make it with short notice, please remove yourself from the waitlist so the next person can take the spot. For example, if you know that finding out less than 1 hour before class begins does not give you enough time to get there, then please remove yourself from the waitlist at that time.

Late Arrival Policy

Students are not permitted to enter class more than 5 minutes late.

  • If a team member is not in the front area, the doors will be locked at the beginning of class. For this reason, please do not rely on arriving 5 minutes late.

  • If a team member is at the front desk and therefore able to let you in, you will be permitted to enter class up to 5 minutes late.

  • Students who are more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed to enter class even if a team member is at the front desk out of respect for everyone else’s experience.

Just like our students, sometimes, although seldom, our wonderful teachers get sick or need to tend to an emergency. In the rare event this ever happens:

  • Members receive the choice of a $15 credit or gift card to give to a friend or family member.
  • Drop-in students or Class Package holders will be have their class credited back to them plus an additional class on the house.

To maintain a peaceful class experience for all students, we ask that anyone needing to leave class early exit before Savasana begins. This protects the integrity of the closing rest and minimizes disruptions for others.

Please note: We are a small studio and do not always have a team member at the front area. In this case the teacher may hang by the door a couple extra minutes checking students in but when they are ready to start class the door will be locked. Once class begins we want our teachers to give their full attention to our students that have arrived on time, and they will not be able to check phone messages, stop class or let you in.

Early Departure Policy

To maintain a peaceful class experience for all students, we ask that anyone needing to leave class early exit before Savasana begins. This protects the integrity of the closing rest and minimizes disruptions for others.

If you anticipate needing to leave early, please place your mat near the studio entrance and inform your instructor before class begins.
