IS THERE A CHANGING ROOM AT THE STUDIO?

Our studio has a spacious restroom in the back, which may be used to change in and out of your attire if needed.

DO YOU SUPPLY SOCKS AT YOUR STUDIO?

Yes. While we encourage you to practice barefoot in order to achieve the best results, we do have non-slip socks available for purchase at our studio.

DO I NEED TO BOOK MY CLASS IN ADVANCE?

We highly recommend doing this as we are a small studio and classes tend to fill up. Advanced booking will also make your arrival at Llamaste much smoother, as this reduces the check-in time and allows you to settle into your spot and focus on your practice.

IS THERE PARKING CLOSE BY?

There is alternate side street parking on the surrounding blocks as well a parking garage just around the corner. Make sure to check all the signs in order to avoid getting a ticket!

DO I NEED TO BRING A YOGA MAT?

Our students are welcome to bring their own mats as some have a preference one texture, size or material over the other. You are not required to bring one.

We offer mat rentals, which are complementary to members as well as anyone who signs up for our classes through our website or in person.

Mats are available to our students on a first-come-first-serve basis, so if you have your own mat, we do recommend that you bring it.

DO I NEED TO PAY FOR A MAT RENTAL

If you are a member of our studio or signed up through our website or in person, your mat rental is complementary.

If you signed up for our classes through a third party, such as ClassPass or WellHub, there is a $2 rental fee for your mat.

Mats are available to our students on a first-come-first-serve basis, so if you have your own mat, we recommend that you bring it.

WHAT TYPE OF ATTIRE DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR MY FIRST TIME?

There are a few options as to what you would wear. Some of our yogis prefer more athletic gear, such as leggings and a matching sports bra.

Others like to dress more loose and comfortably, like sweat pants and a t shirt or tank. As long as it is something that allows you to move in and stretch. This does not include jeans, which may restrict your movement.

If you choose to wear a printed T, make sure it does not contain bad language or an expression that may offend other students. We strive to create a sense of community in our studio and refrain from any politics whatsoever.

DO YOU OFFER HOT YOGA?

We currently offer traditional yoga classes, which are not heated, though we may add this as an option in the future.

DO I NEED TO BE FLEXIBLE TO PRACTICE YOGA?

No. Yoga is for everyone and Llamaste offers yoga for students of all levels. We are very beginner friendly and our friendly and professional staff will work closely to help you develop your practice and find your space!

ARE YOU NEAR ANY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?

The F&G trains, which run on the same subway line will let you off at Smith and Carroll Streets. Use the exit at 2nd Street and walk two blocks East until you get to Bond. Cross Bond and make a right. In the middle of the block you will see the Llamaste sign in front of our studio.

Additionally, the B3 and B37 buses stop near there. Check the NYC bus map for more info.

ARE LLAMASTE'S CLASSES GEARED ONLY TOWARD FAMILIES AND KIDS?

No. While we offer family yoga classes on weekends, and kid's classes on weekday afternoons, Llamaste's classes are primarily geared toward adults. Our adult classes are taught in the mornings 6 days per week as well as evening classes 4 days per week. Please check out our class schedule to learn more!
