With the winter energy transitioning into spring, it’s really important to clear any residual energies in the mind-body as well. Our team put together our favorite restorative postures that can help to relieve any stress or tension so that you can move into the new season with clarity and ease!

Legs on the Wall

An easily accessible pose for everyone! This can be performed on any wall in your home. Grab some cushions and blankets and lay flat on the floor with the hips pressed against the baseboards while you rest your legs against the wall. This is a great pose that helps to recirculate the blood and calm the nervous system. Play some calming music and allow your body to de-stress!

 Supported Supine Twist

This is a lovely posture that helps to nurture and support your immune and digestive system as well as your emotional field. You’ll need a bolster or a large pillow with a few other smaller pillows to place at the top of your mat for your head and upper body. Then just lay on top of the pillows and sweep your legs to one side as your come into a supported supine twist position.

Reclined Supported Butterfly

This one will require two small pillows or bolsters to place underneath your knees as you lay fat on your back with your legs in butterfly position. This is a beautiful posture to help release any emotional and mental stress in the body as well as the hips and lower back.

Take care of your mind-body as we transition from fall to spring! Each of these postures can be performed in as little as 3-5 minutes to feel their effects. Try them out and let us know how you feel afterwards! Llamaste!
