10-Minute Morning Gratitude Practice
1. Find a quiet and still place
We suggest a calm space outdoors in nature. Maybe on your porch, balcony, or by an open door or window. Find a comfortable seat.
2. Take a few breaths
Close the eyes and focus in on the breath. Find 3-5 rounds of deep inhalations and exhalations to steady the body into the space and the present moment.
3. Set an Intention
Choose an intention for your day. This can be anything that you may choose to call forwards as you go about your day ahead.
4. Grab your journal and a pen
Choose 3-5 things that you are grateful for right now in this present moment. Write them down on a piece of paper.
5. Come to a close
You can close the eyes once more and take one final deep inhale and exhale. Imagine yourself gathering your energy and focus towards your heart space and finish with a blessing of your choice.
This is a very simple practice that takes only a few minutes of your day. Our team is confident that you will feel a shift in your mood throughout the day by taking up this practice! Let us know if you try it out and if you notice any differences in your energy throughout the day.
