Aromatherapy is a lovely complimentary practice to yoga and is often combined with various yoga postures for mental and emotional support. Today, our team put together our favorite essential oil blend to help support heavier emotions, such as depression or grief. Below is a quick and easy recipe that can be made right at home. 

Diffuser w/Distilled Water 

Grab any size of diffuser and fill with distilled water.

Rose

Add one drop of rose essential oil to distilled water to assist with feelings of stress, grief, and loss. This essential oil helps to support better sleep and assist you with processing heavier emotions. 

Sandalwood

Add three drops of sandalwood essential oil to distilled water to bring in a sense of peace to the mind and body. This essential oil helps to stimulate more replenishing feelings of balance and serenity. 

Sweet Orange 

Add one drop of sweet orange essential oil to uplift your mood and ease into a lighter energy. This essential oil helps to inspire positive emotion and lighthearted feels. 


After adding in the oils, be sure to turn on the diffuser and you’re good to go. We recommend practicing a gentle yoga flow, a meditation practice, or even light errands while you absorb the aroma. We hope you love this blend as much as we do!
