As summer comes to an end, don’t forget to utilize this awesome sweet treat to cool down from the hot weather. Homemade sorbet is a quick treat the whole family will enjoy. Below is a recipe our team camp up with that is kid-friendly and dairy free. Enjoy!

Choose your fruits

For added anti-inflammatory benefits during extra hot weather, we recommend using berries such as blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries. To beat the heat with added hydration benefits, we recommend using fruits such as watermelon, pineapple, or orange. We suggest sticking with one or two fruits that are complementary to one another. Some of our favorite combinations are blueberry and blackberry, orange and raspberry, or watermelon and lime.

    Choose your Base

We recommend using coconut milk or a fresh fruit juice, such as lemon or lime.

    Freeze Fruits

Cut your fruits into small pieces and place in the freezer overnight.

    Mix together

Add 1/2 cup of base with 2 cups of fruit and mix well in a blender. Add honey for sweetener and additional coconut milk as needed for texture. Then scoop to your liking to serve on the spot.

This is the perfect treat for the whole family on hot summer days. Take full advantage of this fun recipe while summer lasts!
